Born and raised in Athens. While studying Communication and Mass Media at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, he realised cinema was his calling. He graduated from the London Film School’s MA in Filmmaking. He has been awarded the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship by Artworks. He has directed the short films ‘Iceberg’, ‘Invisible’ and ‘Iskioma’, all of which have been screened and won prizes in international film festivals. As a screenwriter he has written short and feature film scripts and TV series such as the primetime hit TV series ‘The Beach’ for ERT and ‘The Bridge’ (Greek/Turkish adaptation of Bron/Broen) for ANT1+. He just finished his new short film ‘Cleaner’ and is currently developing the feature film ‘Five Murders Without a Cause’ and the TV series ‘Bad News’.
