Born and raised in Athens. While studying Communication and Mass Media at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, he realised cinema was his calling. He graduated from the London Film School’s MA in Filmmaking. He has been awarded the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship by Artworks and is an alumnus of Midpoint Series Launch and Canneseries Writers Club. He has directed the short films Iceberg, Invisible, Iskioma, and Cleaner, all of which have been screened and won prizes in international film festivals. As a screenwriter he has written short and feature film scripts and TV series such as the primetime hit The Beach for ERT and The Bridge (Greek/Turkish adaptation of Bron/Broen) for ANT1+. His feature films Five Murders Without a Cause and The Interpreter are in the funding stage.
